EOL Centre éolien Saint-Nazaire Renversante
EOL, named after Aeolus, kig of the winds in Greek mythology, is the first visitor centre in France about offshore wind energy, an industrial sector where Saint-Nazaire has a major role to play.
Did you know…
… that Saint-Nazaire and the Western Loire Region are pioneers in the development of offshore wind energy ? This is where huge elements for wind turbines are being built, and this is where France’s first offshore wind farm will produce electricity, as from 2022.
